Right after the top 6 for The King of Fighters 15 at Evo 2023, SNK revealed a new teaser trailer for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
The trailer begins by showing off multiple locations on the map of the iconic South Town along with voice clips of various characters shouting out their special moves. You then get to see a few select shots of Rock Howard and Terry Bogard posing and showing off some moves before the trailer ends.
The game has now been given the official title of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a direct sequel to Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which released all the way back in 1999. It isn’t known if this new Fatal Fury will indeed be a fighting game like previous entries, but it’s looking pretty likely at this point.
There’s no real update on when the game will release, but SNK states at the end of the trailer that the new Fatal Fury is furiously in development and to look forward to future reveals. While it looks to be using a similar engine to KOF15, the new Fatal Fury seems to lean more heavily on a cell-shaded appearance, making the colors really pop in the short bit of footage here.
SNK also revealed that Duo Lon will be the next character to come to KOF15 as DLC after Najd. You can check out the teaser trailer for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves below.
