Sony has began shipping the Bloggie Duo HD. First displyed at CES, the pocket camcorder is unique in having a two-inch LCD on its back to help with video blogging and anything else that requires a self-portrait. It stands near the top of the category regardless with 1080P, stabilized video recording and five-megapixel still images from a low-light-friendly CMOS sensor.
Regular shooting depends on a 2.7-inch front LCD and has the option of HDMI output. All storage is built in, and at 4GB of space is enough for about two hours of footage. Sony lists the camera as “in stock” on its online store and is selling it for $170 in green, pink, violet, and white hues.
