Industrial PC manufacturer Stealth Computer has released a powerful but small unit. The new Stealth Extreme Power model LPC-480 mini PC is Stealth’s most powerful small-form-factor computer to date, and integrates the latest Intel third-generation Core i7 mobile processors. The LPC-480 LittlePC measures 5.7 inches wide, 9.9 inches in length and less than 1.65″ in height — about the size of a hard cover novel.
The LPC-480 small mini-PC features a multitude of I/O connectivity built-in: four USB 3.0 ports, twoUSB 2.0, DVI-D, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, RS232 serial and Line In/Out audio ports are all standard, with versions available with more Ethernet ports, or omitting RS232 serial, if desired. The computer supports up to 16GB in DDR3 memory, and is available with a 2.5-inch mobile hard drive or Solid State Drive (SSD) in various capacities.
A slim DVD-RW/CD-RW optical disk drive comes standard with an optional Blu-ray burner available. The systems are all compatible with Microsoft Windows XP SP3 (with all USB ports running at USB 2.0 speed), or Windows 7, Windows 8, and Linux with full USB 3.0 support. Though customizable, the “stock” configuration with the i7-3610QE running at up to 3.3GHz, 4GB DDR3, with a DVD-RW optical drive, 500GB SATA-3 2.5-inch drive, and no operating system which retails for $1,795
