Earlier this month Nintendo released a video showcasing all 45 amiibo costumes for Yoshi’s Woolly World which seemed to be a pretty crazy thing for Nintendo to do for one game. Turns out, Super Mario Maker will have support for over 99 amiibo costumes. You can see some of them in the image below, but the real kicker is that you don’t need each individual amiibo to unlock them. You can do the 100 Mario challenge in the game to get access.
We’ve also learned that the game is compatible with the Wii Remote, Classic Controller Pro, and the Wii U Pro Controller. The download for the game is 1.4GB and according to the post that revealed the amiibo costumes, you’ll be able to save 120 courses to start with.
Super Mario Maker releases on September 11 everywhere except Japan.
