Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, the 3DS version of the latest entry of the series released last year in all regions, has received a new update today.
The 1.0.6 update is now available for download on the eShop in both North America and Europe. The update introduces support for the Mewtwo DLC character, which is going to become available later today for Club Nintendo members who have registered both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game, as well as some yet to be documented balance changes.
Following the update, it will also become possible to purchase the first set of DLC costumes for the game. These costumes will allow players to dress their Mii Fighters as characters from other games such as Dunban from Xenoblade Chronicles, Mega Man X from Mega Man X, Proto Man from Mega Man and more.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is now available in all regions on Nintendo 3DS. The Wii U version of the game is also available in all regions, featuring the same character roster of the 3DS release as well as some new play modes not available in the portable release, such as the Master Orders and Crazy Orders modes, Smash Tour and more.
