T-Mobile on Thursday confirmed the addition of a rumored new $40, 2GB mobile broadband plan on twitter. Like reported before, subscribers who add it to an existing voice service will save 20 percent, having to pay $32 for the data. Other taxes and fees apply, as do restrictions, though exactly what they are wasn’t detailed.
While T-Mobile made no mention of this, the earlier leak also had the carrier dropping overage charges for the current $30/200MB monthly plan, opting to throttle speeds instead.
