T-Mobile will roll out a new Simple Choice plan beginning today that only offers data.
The plans start at $20 per month for 2GB of data, and scale up to 22GB of data for $95 per month. The plans also include unlimited texting, but users would have to rely on data-based services such as Skype or FreedomPop to make a receive phone calls through an assigned number.
The plans will work only with GSM-capable smartphones, and remaining BlackBerry users must be using a BB 10 or Priv to qualify for the plan.
