Veep creator Armando Iannucci is returning to the silver screen with the black political comedy The Death of Stalin.
The story is based on Fabien Nury and Thierry Robin’s French graphic novel which offers a comedic look at the Soviet dictator’s last days, and depicts the chaos of the regime after his death in 1953 following 30 years of iron-fisted rule over the Soviet Union.
Steve Buscemi, Jason Isaacs, Andrea Riseborough, Paddy Considine, Simon Russell Beale, Rupert Friend, Michael Palin, and Jeffrey Tambor star in the film which opens October 20th in the UK.
