Terraria is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch with a release date unexpectedly set for June 27 , that’s tomorrow.
A Terraria forum post announcing the date said that the initial release will be digital only, but that a physical retail version would eventually follow. Developer Re-Logic explained that “since the game is ready, we figured we would just get it into your hands as soon as possible.”
While Terraria is $10 on PC and $20 on PS4 and Xbox One, it sounds like it might cost $30 on Switch – that would line up with the same price it has on Wii U, while is still $20 on 3DS. The console versions of Terraria have slightly different content from the PC version and are generally a few updates behind, but they are fairly similar for the most part.
