Focus Features has a new poster for Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled.
Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning star in this remake of the 1971 Clint Eastwood film set in a girls school in the state of Virginia in 1864.
Synopsis
As the Civil War rages, these young ladies have been sheltered from the outside world – until the day a wounded Union soldier is discovered nearby and taken in. Oona Laurence, Emma Howard, Angourie Rice and Addison Riecke also star.
The script was adapted by Coppola from Thomas Cullinan’s original novel of the same name.
The Beguiled will premiere in the U.S. on June 23rd.
