Read Only Memories’ cyberpunk world, popularized by the narrative adventure 2064: Read Only Memories Limited Run Nintendo Switch game has been downloaded by more than 1 million gamers, expands with issue #1 of a comic series from MidBoss and IDW Publishing on Dec. 18, 2019.
Set between 2064: Read Only Memories and its upcoming sequel Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER, series mainstay Lexi Rivers has turned private investigator and moved from Neo-San Francisco to Santa Cruz. As newly-sentient AIs struggle to find a place in society, a seemingly simple case of tracking down a robot’s missing human lover quickly embroils Lexi in the power struggles of the divided California beach town.

Each issue of the adventure will feature full-color illustrations by Stefano Simeone, who works has appear in books Dark Horse, Boom! Studios . The story is by prolific comicbook scribe Sina Grace, a veteran who has written for comic series including Marvel’s Uncanny X-Men and Iceman.
