Bethesda Softworks’ winning ways at the Spike Video Game Awards wasn’t the studio’s only accolades this weekend. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also took away the top awards Friday night at Machinima.com’s Inside Gaming Awards.
Skyrim won Game of the Year in the event, seen live on Machinima’s YouTube Channel, beating out Bastion, Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Dead Space 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Gears of War 3, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Portal 2 and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Bethesda Softworks also won the Gamers’ Choice Award with Skyrim and Best DLC for Fallout: New Vegas (Old World Blues).
