It’s sci-fi week at the Humble Store. To celebrate the theme, the retailer is dropping prices on select sci-fi games. Other games are on sale as well, but not all of them will last through the week at their discounted rates. You can see the full list of deals here, and clicking on any game shows how long its sale price lasts.
Also, if you subscribe to Humble Monthly, you get an extra 10% off on all games from the Humble Store. The discount stacks with these sale prices.
One of the best deals this week is on The Long Dark, which currently costs $9 instead of its usual $35. It’s a survival game in which you walk away from a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness. Two of five story episodes are currently available, but the free-form Survival Mode is also included.
Fans of the Metal Gear universe can pick up a couple of entries for cheap. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is on sale for the almost trivial price of $5, while the action-oriented spinoff Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has dropped to $7.
In the sci-fi portion of the sale, the universe-exploaration game No Man’s Sky is on sale for $24. You can get the grand strategy game Stellaris for $16, and Elite Dangerous for $13. The minimalist strategy game FTL: Faster Than Light got a significant price cut down to $3, as did the puzzle game The Talos Principle, which is available for $8. Strategy fans can buy Homeworld: Remastered Collection for $12, while the sci-fi racers can get Redout for $17.
