Universal Pictures and Illumination have dropped a new Despicable Me 4 trailer and it previews the arrival of a group of “Mega Minions” to help out Gru and his family to save the day.
The new trailer focuses on a group of superpowered Minions, tasked with aiding in the take down Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). (We love the the laser beam eye)

Gru (Carell), the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent, returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem, alongside his wife and fellow Anti-Villain League-agent Lucy (Wiig), their three adopted girls —Margo (Cosgrove), Edith (Gaier) and Agnes (Polan)— and the newest member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad.
Cast
The fourth in the series stars returning cast members Steve Carell as Gru, Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, Kristen Wiig as Lucy, Dana Gaier as Edith, Madison Polan as Agnes, Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom, and Pierre Coffin as the Minions. In January 2024, it was announced the following were joining the fun of the series; Sofia Vergara, Joey King, Stephen Colbert, and Chloe Fineman.
Despicable Me 4 is directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage with screenplay written by Mike White and Ken Daurio. The film is produced by Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman.
Release Date
Despicable Me 4 will be released in the United States on July 3, 2024.
