Brand new trailer for The Green Lantern has hit the web today. This one features Geoffrey Rush’s Tomar-Re and provides more background info through the narration. The film is set to hit theaters on June 17, 2011
The film follows Hal Jordan as he is chosen to join the Green Lantern Corps., protectors of peace and justice. Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot who ends up being the missing piece of the Green Lantern puzzle even though the Green Lanterns have no respect for humans. Hal must overcome his fears and find his courage in order to help the Green Lanterns and defeat Parallax.
The Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins, Temuera Morrison, Jay O. Sanders, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney, Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan.
