THQ and JAKKS Pacific, have announced the WWE Legends of WrestleMania playable demo is now available for free download via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as PlayStation Network for the Playstation 3 computer entertainment system. The playable demo will allow players to participate in an exhibition match with Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and Bobby “the Brain” Heenan using the WrestleMania III arena. Players can also watch a highlight reel of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock from WrestleMania XV before completing in-ring objectives to faithfully relive their historic match. WWE Legends of WrestleMania is scheduled for release on March 24, 2009 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 system.

The WWE Legends of WrestleMania playable demo for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 system will allow players to sample the game’s WrestleMania Tour Mode by reliving the moment Stone Cold Steve Austin delivered a Stunner to The Rock for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XV. As well, players can take the fate of Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan, known for their defining WrestleMania III match, into their own hands through exhibition play. Famed manager Bobby “the Brain” Heenan is also available for use with either Legend.
WWE Legends of WrestleMania will embrace the leading sports entertainment organization’s rich history to relive, rewrite or redefine the definitive elements of WWE from the Eighties and Nineties. Players will experience the entertaining lives of 40 larger-than-life Legends and have control over Legendary Managers, each of whom will play crucial roles in match outcomes. The game’s new grapple-based fighting system will capture the high-energy action and drama seen in vintage WWE matches, while a historically accurate representation of past WWE telecasts will set the stage, including dynamic visual treatments, signature ring entrances and notable venues.
WWE Legends of WrestleMania will also include a WrestleMania Tour Mode that allows players to participate in key matches from multiple WrestleMania events, a Create-a-Legend system to develop the Legends of tomorrow, and connectivity with WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, which will enable owners of both videogames to match up Legends with the Superstars of today. In addition, online functionality will allow players to compete on the biggest stages in WWE history.
