Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) wil be the star in the new Swan Lake film, based on the 1877 ballet by Tchaikovsky, is heading to Universal Pictures, per Variety. The Swan Lake film will be directed by Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash) from a script from Kristina Lauren Anderson.
Jones recently played Jyn Erso in Rogue On: A Star Wars Story. She’s also known for her work in The Theory of Everything, for which she received a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress. S
Kristina Lauren Anderson wrote the script Catherine the Great, which hit the top of the Black List in 2014. She is currently writing the series Mrs. Hemingway for Amazon Studios.
