Ahead of their ComicsPRO presentation, DC Comics has they will be making big name exclusive announcements with Tom King, Clay Mann and Jon Timm – all signed exclusively to DC and Vertigo, for the Rebirth event.
We already knew that Tom King will be writing the Batman ongoing bi-weekly comic book. Clay Mann has recently been working for DC on Poison Ivy and John Timm on Harley Quinn.
The DC press website quotes them as saying,
“To me, DC is Superman. DC is Batman. DC is Wonder Woman. DC is Swamp Thing, The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, All Star Superman, The New 52 and The Court of Owls,” said Tom King. “DC is where the great comics get made. I’m honored and proud to be part of that tradition, and I’m going to do my best to deliver my best work ever. I can’t wait for people to see what’s coming.”
Rebirth may not be a reboot, but it looks like a signing party of talent.
