Carbon, a new Twitter application, has reached the Google Play Store.
The application was expected to come out last yeat, but ran into some issues as Twitter changed some of their rules for third party apps.
The application itself uses the Holo theme for Android devices and promises to cut down on the clutter of the official Android Twitter application. It includes power scrolling with two-finger gestures and home screen links for timelines, searches, or trends. Carbon also includes images in-line with text, threaded Direct Messages, username autocomplete, and support for quick actions on Jelly Bean devices.
Carbon is a free download from the Google Play Store for devices running Android 4.0 and above.
