The HTC U11 is on deck to receive Android 8 Oreo now, according to HTC exec Mo Versi. He tweeted the news over the holiday weekend.
The unlocked version of the U11 will be first to see the Android 8 Oreo upgrade, though Versi said other variants, including Sprint, shouldn’t be too far behind.
Other HTC handsets that will receive Android 8 Oreo include the 10, U Ultra, and U11 Life. Versi didn’t say when Oreo will be available for those devices.
