Owners of the original Droid Razr from Motorola have reportedly begun receiving notifications that their devices are ready for a software update that will bring them to Android 4.1.2. The update to Jelly Bean will bring improved functionality, as well as changes to the user interface for Android’s notifications system and several apps.
AndroSome users are saying the update is taking a long time to download and that there is no progress bar. There has as yet been no official word from Verizon or Motorola on the update, so it is possible that it is an early or unintentional leak, though some users have been able to complete the update. Those users report that the download is about 311MB in size and has a build number of 98.72.8.
