Verizon’s support page for the Samsung Galaxy Tab reveals that the provider has quietly begun rolling out a small software update that will speed up the device. It promises improved battery life and enhanced browser performance. The built-in e-mail application also gets more font size, displays the time e-mails were received in the status bar, receives a linking fix, and supports larger attachments.
Users can also now download Word documents and can send multiple name cards.
In other areas, hitting the snooze button on the first alarm will not turn off the second alarm. Calendar events will now also stay consistent despite the time zone users are located in. The update also contains support for a more recent version of Adobe Flash player 10.1.
