Vizio is now shipping its new, portable 7-inch VMB070 Personal TV, which is capable of picking up ATSC or NTSC over the air channels. (1080i for ATSC, 720P, 480P, 480i for NTSC)
The Razor LED screen is edge-lit and has an 800×480 resolution and touch controls, along with a 500:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 250 nits of brightness. The VMB070 is less than an inch thick and has an integrated antenna and kickstand.
It can also be used as a digital photo frame with content coming from connected USB ports. It delivers Dolby Digital sound through its two 1W speakers. A composite video input is present as well, enabling owners to connect other sources such as DVD players and Vvdeo game consoles. Battery life is rated at 3.5 hours. The unit weighs one pound.
