Adam Sandler has decided to make his next project an untitled Warner Bros. romantic comedy, Deadline reports. What’s more, Sandler could potentially re-team with his The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates co-star Drew Barrymore, who is said to be among the actresses up to star.
Plot details are few, but the comedy will deal with blended families and will be produced by Happy Madison and Gulfstream Pictures.
As the new project will move forward immediately, Sandler has postponed plans to headline the Paramount Pictures comedy western Ridiculous 6 for the time being.
After starring in last year’s That’s My Boy and Hotel Transylvania, Sandler can next be seen in his first-ever sequel in this summer’s Grown Ups 2.
