The Washington Post and Simply Hired, the largest job search engine and recruitment advertising network, announced today a partnership that provides washingtonpost.com national users access to Simply Hired’s comprehensive database of 3 million national job listings.
Simply Hired’s job search and classification technology will provide national users with job listings through targeted job widgets on news pages. In addition, Simply Hired will supplement The Washington Post’s job listings in the Washington D.C. Metro area with a National Jobs channel, which can be found at http://nationaljobs.washingtonpost.com.
“The Washington Post has long been a top destination for jobseekers in the D.C. area and we’ve found that many of our national visitors desire that same service,” said Goli Sheikholeslami, General Manager of Washington Post Digital. “Now anyone who comes to washingtonpost.com will be able to search for jobs in their area, and be delivered relevant job listings alongside the news they are already reading.”
“During these hard economic times, the Washington Post is providing its online readers a great resource for finding employment,” said Gautam Godhwani, the Co-founder and CEO of Simply Hired. “In addition, anyone looking to fill open jobs will have the opportunity to tap into this intelligent and informed audience of active and passive job seekers.”
