Sony has launched a new version of the PlayStation 3 in North America, this time in “Classic White.” The new console bundle will also have a matching white controller, a 500GB hard drive, the console’s largest ever; and a year-long membership to PlayStation Plus, including access to a downloadable collection of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games.
The current Instant Game Collection roster includes LittleBigPlanet 2, BioShock 2, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Borderlands, Gotham City Impostors, and seven others for the PS3, and six for the PS Vita. In 2012, PlayStation Plus members received 50 free PS3 games and discounts on 270 others, as well as 90 game add-ons and 8 free PS Vita games. PlayStation Plus members also offers online storage for up to 2GB of game saves, divided equally between the PS3 and PS Vita.
The Classic White bundle will go on sale from January 27th at a cost of $300.
