The latest release of the Wii U system software, version 4.1.0 U, is now live and introduces improvements to the console’s usability and overall system stability, Nintendo announced on its support page.
According to the minor update’s release notes, the latest increases general system stability and “other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
Nintendo’s last system software update for the Wii U, version 4.0.O U, went live last September. It added numerous new features, such as the ability to output the display of original Wii software to the Wii U GamePad’s touchscreen and the option to automatically download demos of software through SpotPass.
