WinAmp is now available as a beta for Android. The app lets Android phone owners sync their phones with their desktop WinAmp libraries, either via a USB connection or wirelessly over Wi-Fi. WinAmp 5.59 beta for the desktop is required for Wi-Fi syncing. Users can also access Last.fm right from inside the app and scrobble their listening habits.
Tracks in a queue can be sorted, selected individually or saved as a playlist. Shortcuts to the playlists and the widget can be added right onto the Android home screen, plus you can access playback controls from the lock screen. Pressing and holding song info lets users interact with Pandora, YouTube and the Amazon MP3 Store.
The free download is now available from Android Market.
