Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Marketplace has already surpassed 1000 titles. The milestone was reached in just three weeks since the portal was first opened.
The Windows Phone 7 store is still very behind other app stores in comparison. Google recently announced that its Android Market has past over 100,000 apps in a period of two years. Apple CEO Steve Jobs confirmed that the iOS App Store has already shot past 300,000 titles.
Devices powered by Windows Phone 7 begun arriving in Europe and Asia late last week, while the US launch is scheduled for November 8.
