Panasonic’s Living in HD community, www.livinginhd.com, is looking for bloggers, video bloggers, photographers, podcasters and other content creators to participate in the Living in HD Insider program. One winner will receive a full content creator suite of Panasonic high definition products.
Living in HD (LiHD) is a community started by Panasonic for customers to share their photos and videos, learn new tips and tricks and connect with others who are interested and excited about high definition technology.
How to Enter
To enter for a chance to become the next Living in HD Insider, visit www.livinginhd.com/lihdinsider/ between now and October 9. Participants must be a current Living in HD member with a complete profile. Along with their application, entrants must also submit a video that compellingly and convincingly answers why they believe they should win the content creator suite and how they would encourage their community to get involved with LivinginHD.com.
The judging process will be conducted in two phases. First, from October 12-15, the Living in HD committee will narrow down the applicants to 10 finalists. The finalists will then be introduced to Living in HD community members, who will then vote on their favorite candidate from October 19-23. Participants can boost their chances of winning by driving their existing audience to participate and vote on the Living in HD website.
Living in HD Family Program
You can also check out the Living in HD Family Program. Launched in August 2007, the Living in HD Family program supplements the online LivinginHD community, by trying to examine how real people use technology in their every day lives. Participating families receive a free suite of interconnected High Definition products including VIERA Flat Panel HDTVs, home theater systems, Blu-ray Disc players, LUMIX digital cameras and HD camcorders. They provide feedback on how they use the products in their everyday lives and share their own inspirational and creative project ideas at the LivingInHD.com community website. To date, over 60 families have been selected and are participating in the LIHD Family program with 100 expected to be selected and participating by 2010.
