The latest classic video game series to be resurrected as a barely recognizable, completely different game on phones is Zaxxon. No longer a scrolling shooter in an isometric perspective, Zaxxon Escape is now a behind-the-back third-person game for iOS and Android.
With teasiest of teaser trailers from Sega, it’s difficult to determine just how this new game plays, except to say it’s probably nothing like Zaxxon. The game is due “soon” on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
